Mormaii - Rocket Sun

A Mormaii nos levou literalmente para a praia com o convite para a produção do filme da sua nova coleção de óculos infantil:

Rocket Sun.

Mormaii literally took us to the beach with the invitation to the production of the film for its new children's eyewear collection:
Rocket Sun.

CONCEPT

Rocket Sun é uma coleção onde o sol faz tudo mudar de cor. Para ilustrar essa ideia, usamos a iluminação do sol para mudar as cores dos produtos em um cenário de videogame, com diferentes níveis de dificuldade e de uma maneira super divertida! Tudo foi pensado especialmente para o público de 8 a 12 anos, usando cores vibrantes, muita textura e retículas pra entrar nesse universo.

Rocket Sun is a collection where the sun makes everything change color. To illustrate this idea, we used sunlight to change the colors of the products in a video game scenario, with different levels of difficulty and in a super fun way! Everything was designed especially for the 8 to 12 year old audience, using vibrant colors, lots of texture and reticules in this universe.

O filme foi separado em 3 níveis, onde cada um é representado por uma criança praticando um esporte. Cada nível possui um grau de dificuldade e corresponde a um tipo de óculos. A cada level a pontuação vai subindo e tudo fica ainda mais emocionante.

The film was separated into 3 levels, where each one is represented by a child playing a sport. Each level has a degree of difficulty and corresponds to a type of glasses. With each level the score goes up and everything becomes even more exciting.

STORYBOARD

Iniciamos a produção do filme direto no Storyboard. A partir dos esboços fomos entendendo a narrativa que iriamos usar, quais partes seriam captadas, animadas e como funcionaria a produção do filme.

We started production of the film directly in Storyboard. From the sketches, we understood the narrative we would use, whose parts would be captured, animated and how they would work in the production of the film.

Na animação utilizamos técnicas mistas de frame a frame cutout. Os três personagens fazendo as manobras radicais são puro frame a frame. Confira abaixo um pouco do processo da cena da bike.

In the animation we used mixed frame by frame and cutout techniques. The frame by frame was mainly in the characters doing the maneuvers each in their sport. Check out some of the bike scene process below.

DIREÇÃO DE CENA

Entramos nessa produção da Mormaii criando desde roteiro, storyboard, ilustração e animação. Fizemos a direção de cena em Santo Antônio de Lisboa, Florianópolis, com a produção de casting e locação feita pelo próprio cliente.

We entered this Mormaii production creating everything from script, storyboard, illustration and animation. We directed the scene in Santo Antônio de Lisboa, Florianópolis, with casting and location production carried out by the client.
